For a four year college degree you can go for Zoology or Animal behavior or Biology or even criminal justice.
The first 3 are related to behavior of animals-and how they work and the last would give you info on how the law works.
You are still going to have to take Dog training classes and get certified to do that. Call your local police department to get in touch with a dog handler who can tell you how she got her certifications.
You can get a four-year degree in anything you like- and use it to your benefit. Get a degree in what you like to read about-like Psychology or History or Spanish-anything-you can use it WITH your dog-handling.
